SENSOR NIGLAS
Our camera sensor with laser – NIGlas
This brings your production into line.
We can handle big changes
Do you have low strip tensions and therefore changing strip shapes and high strip position or strip shape changes, no space for backlighting under the strip, dripping liquids or dust? Then our camera sensor with laser NIGlas comes into operation. Edge position as well as strip position measurements are possible.
One sensor head is used for edge position measurements, two sensor heads are used for strip position measurements. The laser projects a narrow line onto the strip surface. Shifts of the line in the camera field of view allow the calculation of height changes (triangulation principle).
Your advantage:
- Low space requirement
- Both the sensor housing and the laser are located above the strip
- Compensation of strip layers and strip contours
- Simple calibration
- Precise, fast measurement
Our CMOS area scan camera NIGeye and a line laser are located in a stainless steel housing, which are aligned at a defined angle to each other. A controller board is also integrated. The sensor is designed to work without any additional external electronics.
